The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Broncos reached some 225 spots for Trey Morrison, and value like that does not grow back. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The Loveland pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
