Start where it matters. The Raiders took Fernando Mendoza to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Every board in the league had Kamara lower, and that gap is the story. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
