The Raiders spent the pick that matters most on Fernando Mendoza, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Golday. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.

They are betting Davis proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

Somehow Connor Lew was still sitting there in pick 117, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.

They paid a round early for J.C. Davis in the 134th overall pick, more than the board wanted. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
