Nothing loud, just a tidy B+ for the Browns. The Browns went off the board in a big way for Kamran James, 102 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Bell. The Tyler Guyton pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
