The Seahawks worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

You can hear the double-takes from here. The Seahawks took Cameron Ball at the Round 7 slot, roughly 71 spots before his name belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Ponds pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, linebacker and other spots still on the board.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. That Ponds pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
