The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Steelers reached some 34 spots for Davison Igbinosun, and value like that does not grow back. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Dixon. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
