A sensible, unshowy class lands the Seahawks a B-.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Seahawks did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes. The back end got a real overhaul.

Their trades came out a wash either way.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
