The Lions bet big and early on Max Llewellyn, 23 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Key to cover a lot of smaller sins.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
