Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B
ValueB NeedA- TradesB- FutureB-
The Titans let Golday fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jake Golday tumbling to the Titans in the Round 4 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Hurst has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Jeremiyah Love
In pick No. 4 they get a centerpiece for the ground game. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick35 Rnd2 Zion Young
A conviction pick on Zion Young at pick 35 that the board grades a round light. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick66 Rnd3 Jake Slaughter
Jake Slaughter at Round 3, Pick 2 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick101 Rnd4 Jake Golday
Jake Golday in the 101st overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick142 Rnd5 Beau Stephens
A straight-up fair deal on Beau Stephens at No. 142, value and slot in agreement. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick144 Rnd5 Ted Hurst
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Ted Hurst. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick184 Rnd6 Lander Barton
Lander Barton at the Round 6 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
