The Bengals did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Malachi Fields fell into slot 110. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
