Draft Grade — Lions
Overall

The Lions kept it disciplined and banked a B. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Lions did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to offensive lineman, which was the need that mattered most. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick17
Rnd1
Keldric Faulk
In Round 1, Pick 17 they get a premier pass rusher. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick50
Rnd2
D'Angelo Ponds
D'Angelo Ponds at slot 50 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
