Daniels should have been long gone. The Panthers pounced, and earned a B+.

The real work happened on the phones. The Panthers fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

On value alone, Daniels makes the weekend a net positive. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Henry To'oTo'o gives the group a proven body among the projects. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
