A sensible, unshowy class lands the Lions a B-.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Jack Pyburn; the Lions did not wait, grabbing him 60 spots ahead at the Round 7 slot. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The back end got a real overhaul.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
