Draft Grade — Seahawks

Larceny in the Round 2 slot lands the Seahawks a B-, Hill Jr. and all. The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Seahawks watched Anthony Hill Jr. slide 27 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Kamara lower, and that gap is the story. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Brandon Cisse
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get a lockdown presence outside at fair value. More want than need.
Pick64
Rnd2
Anthony Hill Jr.
They barely believed it either: Anthony Hill Jr. still on the board at pick 64. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick96
Rnd3
Mikail Kamara
They went early on Mikail Kamara in the 96th overall pick, and the value did not follow. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
