The Texans treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 165th pick on J. Michael Sturdivant a full 62 spots early.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On value alone, Hunter makes the weekend a net positive. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
