Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB- TradesB- FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Titans, and a B- to prove it.

The Titans' one glaring miss is edge rusher, a need they left exactly as they found it.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Every board in the league had Cuevas lower, and that gap is the story.

Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Caleb Downs
In the 4th pick they get a two-high chess piece at fair value.
Pick35 Rnd2 Chris Brazzell II
Chris Brazzell II at pick No. 35 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the wide receiver. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick66 Rnd3 Malik Muhammad
Malik Muhammad in pick 66 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick101 Rnd4 Nicholas Singleton
Nicholas Singleton in Round 4, Pick 1 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick140 Rnd5 Domani Jackson
They took Domani Jackson at par in the Round 5 slot, which is nothing to complain about. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
Pick142 Rnd5 Ted Hurst
A straight-up fair deal on Ted Hurst at slot 142, value and slot in agreement. It fills a real need, too.
Pick182 Rnd6 Josh Cuevas
The board had cheaper options than Josh Cuevas at the 182nd overall pick, and it noticed. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick238 Rnd7 Micah Morris
They paid up for Micah Morris at No. 238 when waiting would have done the job. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
