Thieneman should have been long gone. The Chargers pounced, and earned a B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chargers watched Dillon Thieneman slide 20 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Bisontis has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
