You could see the war room lean forward. Garrett Nussmeier at slot 151 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
