If confidence were a draft strategy, the Patriots would have aced it. Logan Taylor at slot 191 is 77 spots clear of where he belonged. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Caldwell value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
