The tape said wait; the Packers did not. Riley Mahlman went at No. 255, a good 45 picks before the board was ready. A mixed bag that lands at C.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Golday falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.
