Klare should have been long gone. The Patriots pounced, and earned a B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Max Klare at pick 106 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Every board in the league had Payton lower, and that gap is the story.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
