The Jaguars clearly saw something nobody else did in Da'Shawn Womack, taking him 225 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

On value alone, Barton makes the weekend a net positive. With interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
