Jaybeast17 DRAFTING FOR THEChargers
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Chargers
Overall

FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Chargers and Tate: D+. The Chargers did not so much draft Aamil Wagner as overpay for him, 140 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Put together, it is a D+.
However the rest shakes out, Tate at that price is a win they earned. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Aamil Wagner
In No. 26 they get a long-term starter on the line, though the board says they badly overpaid.
Pick60
Rnd2
Xavier Nwankpa
This one needs a full-page explanation: Xavier Nwankpa in pick No. 60, miles early. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick91
Rnd3
C.J. Fite
No edge and no loss on C.J. Fite in the 91st overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick126
Rnd4
Ar'maj Reed-Adams
They paid a round early for Ar'maj Reed-Adams in the 126th pick, more than the board wanted. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick208
Rnd6
Carnell Tate
Steal is underselling it; Carnell Tate at No. 208 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
