A sensible, unshowy class lands the Rams a B.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Rams did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to safety, which was the need that mattered most. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

That Capehart pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
