Tkodger DRAFTING FOR THEJaguars
Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall

FutureB-
Flashes of a plan, unevenly run, for the Jaguars: C+. You can hear the double-takes from here. The Jaguars took Bryce Lance at Round 2, Pick 24, roughly 57 spots before his name belonged.
The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Lew at that price is a win they earned. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
Pick Analysis
Pick56
Rnd2
Bryce Lance
A big swing on Bryce Lance at No. 56, well ahead of any board in the building. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick81
Rnd3
Connor Lew
The board had Connor Lew higher than pick 81, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick88
Rnd3
Cade Klubnik
Cade Klubnik in pick No. 88 is fair value, right on his grade. The roster fit checks out.
Pick100
Rnd3
Derrick Moore
They paid sticker price for Derrick Moore in the 100th overall pick, and that is fine. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
