The tape said wait; the Panthers did not. Boubacar Traore went at No. 184, a good 70 picks before the board was ready.

The Harvey pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
