The Panthers fought the board and lost. D+.

Nobody else had Shawn Murphy anywhere near the Round 5 slot. The Panthers did, by 270 spots, and that gap is the whole story. The process wobbled, and the D+ is where it lands.

Dennis-Sutton falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, offensive lineman very much included.
