A sensible, unshowy class lands the Packers a B.

The Packers did not so much draft J. Michael Sturdivant as overpay for him, 31 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Dixon steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
