The Vikings have some explaining to do after a D.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Vikings reached some 267 spots for Dijon Johnson, and value like that does not grow back. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

Boerkircher falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
