A costly weekend of dealing drags the Jets to a C-.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Jets spent No. 44 on Roderick Kearney, a name the board had a full 191 spots lower. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C-.

Chambliss falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

If Caleb Downs and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
