Nobody else had Key Lawrence anywhere near the 245th overall pick. The Jaguars did, by 107 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

Trotter falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
