Nobody had Jared Brown this high, and it is not close. The Giants reached 185 spots to get him at the 191st pick.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Landing Jackson Jr. that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
