Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall D+
ValueF NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
The Eagles lost the trade table, and the D+ tells the story.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Luke Hasz at the Round 3 slot is 156 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The math is unkind, and the D+ follows.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Regis at that price is a win they earned.

They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick54 Rnd2 Eric Rivers
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Eric Rivers well ahead of where he belonged. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick68 Rnd3 Isaiah Nwokobia
Isaiah Nwokobia in slot 68 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick98 Rnd3 Luke Hasz
A wild overpay on Luke Hasz in Round 3, Pick 34, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It fills a real need, too.
Pick122 Rnd4 Vincent Anthony Jr.
Value said wait; Vincent Anthony Jr. in pick No. 122 says they were not listening. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick138 Rnd4 Trey Moore
A real head-scratcher, Trey Moore in the 138th pick is miles ahead of his ranking. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick152 Rnd5 Keylan Rutledge
Keylan Rutledge in No. 152 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick180 Rnd5 Mike Washington Jr.
Mike Washington Jr. at pick No. 180 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick202 Rnd6 Albert Regis
They robbed the room for Albert Regis here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
