Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall C
ValueD NeedB TradesC FutureC+
Williams should have been long gone. The Broncos pounced, and earned a C.

The board owed the Broncos one, and it paid up: Antonio Williams, the No. 55 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 7 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.

If Harris pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.

Pick Analysis
Pick31 Rnd1 Zachariah Branch
In the 31st overall pick they get a matchup problem out wide, though the board says they badly overpaid.
Pick63 Rnd2 Max Klare
Good price on Max Klare in No. 63, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick95 Rnd3 Michael Harris
They left a pile of value on the table to take Michael Harris this early at pick No. 95. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick108 Rnd4 Brian Parker II
Somehow Brian Parker II was still sitting there in Round 4, Pick 8, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. The roster fit checks out.
Pick131 Rnd4 Keionte Scott
Keionte Scott at the Round 4 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick170 Rnd5 Parker Brailsford
Steal is underselling it; Parker Brailsford at pick 170 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick200 Rnd6 Tony Grimes
Tony Grimes at slot 200 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
Pick247 Rnd7 Antonio Williams
Antonio Williams in the 247th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick251 Rnd7 Miles Kitselman
You do not let a tight end like Miles Kitselman reach slot 251 and blink. They did not. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick255 Rnd7 Jaden Greathouse
They barely believed it either: Jaden Greathouse still on the board at the 255th pick. It fills a real need, too.
