After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

On value alone, Hecht makes the weekend a net positive. If Bell pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
