That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Slaughter pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher still on the board. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 8 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
