A sensible, unshowy class lands the Cowboys a B-.

There is reaching, and then there is Malachi Lawrence at the Round 4 slot. The Cowboys jumped the board by 36 and dared it to prove them wrong. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Haulcy value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
