A sensible, unshowy class lands the Dolphins a B-.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Dolphins would have aced it. Mikail Kamara at Round 3, Pick 11 is 32 spots clear of where he belonged. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

With interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That Scott pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
