The Bengals went off the board in a big way for Boubacar Traore, 22 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Calhoun steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
