Grand theft in the 254th overall pick: the Bengals steal Thomas and grade out a A. Thirty-one other rooms let Azareye'h Thomas slide, and the Bengals were the ones holding the card at pick 254. Highway robbery. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. The veteran additions, Marvin Harrison Jr. chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
The kind of weekend a front office frames and hangs on the wall.
