You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Seahawks did exactly that with Marcus Dumervil in pick 52.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is James. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left edge rusher open, and the grade is the bill.
