Jaybeast17 DRAFTING FOR THEVikings
Draft Grade — Vikings
Overall

Best value of the weekend goes to the Vikings for Mbow: B-. Call it larceny. Marcus Mbow sat on the board until the Round 6 slot, and the Vikings did not need to be asked twice.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Omarion Hampton
In No. 24 they get a featured back at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick97
Rnd3
Tyler Booker
Tyler Booker in Round 3, Pick 33 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick139
Rnd5
Jacob Parrish
Jacob Parrish slid further than he should have, and slot 139 is lovely value for the cornerback. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick187
Rnd6
Marcus Mbow
They will replay Marcus Mbow at the Round 6 slot for years; that is how good the value is. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
