You can hear the double-takes from here. The Bills took Donald Chaney at the Round 6 slot, roughly 215 spots before his name belonged. The process wobbled, and the D+ is where it lands.

The Trapilo pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
