The Eagles did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

There is reaching, and then there is Da'Shawn Womack at the Round 6 slot. The Eagles jumped the board by 68 and dared it to prove them wrong.

They banked enough surplus on Barton to cover a lot of smaller sins. It is not that Boettcher is a bad player; it is that the Eagles had louder needs to answer first. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
