The Quinn Carroll selection is the head-turner. The Dolphins reached 260 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

On value alone, Skattebo makes the weekend a net positive. The Sauls pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
