The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bengals shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. With tight end, wide receiver and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

Every board in the league had Wilson lower, and that gap is the story.

If Caleb Downs and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
