The Jaguars clearly saw something nobody else did in Mikail Kamara, taking him 30 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. It is not that Traore is a bad player; it is that the Jaguars had louder needs to answer first. Getting Carter Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
