For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Lions walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

Landing Barton that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
