A solid, sensible weekend for the Bengals: B.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bengals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to tight end, which was the need that mattered most.

Josephs falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.

Pick Analysis
Pick10 Rnd1 Francis Mauigoa
In slot 10 they get an anchor for the offensive line. A real need, handled.
Pick41 Rnd2 Joshua Josephs
Joshua Josephs slipping to the 41st overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick72 Rnd3 Malik Muhammad
Malik Muhammad in No. 72 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
