Draft Grade — Seahawks

The Seahawks cashed the board's mistake on Bisontis: B. When a board-topper like Chase Bisontis slides to No. 211, you do not overthink it, and the Seahawks did not. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.
Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick16
Rnd1
Mansoor Delane
In Round 1, Pick 16 they get an island corner, outstanding value to boot.
Pick64
Rnd2
Caleb Banks
Taking Caleb Banks in the 64th overall pick is close to grand larceny; an edge rusher that good had no business lasting this long. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick96
Rnd3
Akheem Mesidor
A top-tier edge rusher at a bargain, Akheem Mesidor in the 96th pick, plain and simple. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick211
Rnd6
Chase Bisontis
Chase Bisontis in pick No. 211 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
